Christmas Is Coming!!!

Oops! Did I scare you a little? I too, cannot believe that Christmas is just around the corner! This has to be one of my favorite times of year, I love seeing the kids get all excited about the presents and Santa, the end of the school year and the Christmas light displays that look so pretty at night! My favorite parts about Christmas is spending time with my precious family and the yummy Christmas lunch at my parent's place before relaxing on Christmas Day night with the kids.

I have started working on some Christmas themed hair accessories which will be great stocking fillers for little girls. I started today by making some yummy looking polymer clay embellishments and some frayed rosette clips :)

Later tonight I will be working on some more of the rosettes in green and white. These will be $3 each on the fanpage with free postage in Australia. 

I have also been workin on some frayed roses and am hoping to add some more to the page soon.

Kandi and upcoming items!

Wow what a week! I have been quite busy with home life and creating the last couple of days and can't wait to reveal some of the works in progress!

Here is a photo of some fabric flowers I have been making and am looking forward to putting these on clips over the weekend once I get some more sticks for the hot glue gun. They are made from 100% cotton and are in a gorgeous ombre leopard print with a sparkly centre. I will also be making some in a purple ombre and can't wait to get into it!

I have also been working on some Kandi Cuffs. These are cute, playful bracelets, favored by Ravers, but also fun for the kids as well. They are handmade with plastic pony beads and the design possibilites are endless. Here is a peek at some of the finished cuffs, the Pac Man one is for teens/adults and the pink/purple/cream is for a child.

Most of these will be for sale on Ebay but from time to time I will put them on the fan page.

Speaking of the fan page-I have been overwhelmed by the amount of fans that have come by and liked the page over the last week! We are 29 fans for reaching my first milestone of 100, which means that I will be gearing up to have a small giveaway! This will be made up of a Mystery Clip Pack featuring 3-4 different clips. Keep your eyes peeled for more details coming soon.

Hi everyone!
I just wanted to take the time to welcome you to the "Little Sweets Bowtique" blog-the place where you will find everything you need to know about Little Sweets Bowtique! Here I will keep you updated about new items coming to the Facebook page and webstore, let you know what I have been working on and experimenting with, as well as hosting competitions and giveaways.

I want to start by thanking you for stopping by and showing your support for my new business venture. I decided to start "Little Sweets Bowtique" because I love trying new things and making cute hair accessories for my 5 year old daughter. I love working with different fabrics, learning new techniques, playing with ribbons and having fun while doing it.

Plans that I have for the near future are to build up my stock, work on some Christmas items and also some more satin roses. I am also working on making some polymar clay embellishments for my clips and bows.
